When owners call us
The most common deliveries around the island
Moving a boat a few dozen miles still takes a skipper, a weather window and coordination with marinas and yards. These are the jobs we do most.
New berth or home port
From Alcúdia to Palma, from Port Adriano to Cala d'Or… whenever the berth or the season changes.
Yards, refits and winter storage
Drop-off and collection at boatyards and shipyards in Palma, Port Adriano, Alcúdia, Portocolom and the rest of the island.
Handover to the new owner
The broker closes the sale and we bring the boat to the buyer's port.
Start and end of season
From the winter berth to the summer one and back, with the boat checked before departure.
Distances and times
Miles and hours between Mallorca ports
Sea distances with a routing margin. At 18 knots almost any delivery around the island fits into a morning; at 9 knots, into a day.
North route (Formentor and Sa Dragonera) and south route (Cap de ses Salines). In a tramontana, we go south.

Navigation
North or south of Mallorca?
Choosing the route is the key decision on a delivery around the island.
Between the bays of Pollença or Alcúdia and Palma there are two ways. North, you round Formentor, run along the Serra de Tramuntana and round Sa Dragonera: about 92 nm from Alcúdia. South, you head down the east coast and round Cap de ses Salines: about 97 nm.
The north coast is spectacular but has few ports of refuge and takes the tramontana head-on. That is why the skipper decides on the day's forecast: with a northerly we go south or wait; with a strong easterly, the east coast also calls for caution.
For the owner, the difference shows in engine hours and fuel, not in fees: the skipper's day rate is the same. If the longer route goes beyond 10 hours underway, we split it with a technical stop at a port on the way.
Before departure we check fluid levels, bilges, batteries, lights and safety gear. If the boat has spent months laid up at the yard, we recommend a check by a marine engineer.

FAQ
What owners ask about this route
Another question? Message us on WhatsApp and we will reply the same day.
How much does it cost to move my boat from Alcúdia to Palma?
With a 46 ft (14 m) planing motor yacht and a skipper only, about €405 + VAT: one skipper day (€300) plus the road transfer to Alcúdia and back to base. Fuel is extra and paid by the owner: about €1,260 for 92 nm at 18 knots.
Is a delivery within Mallorca done in one day?
Almost always. The crew drives out from Palma, so there is no travel day beforehand. Only slow boats on the longest routes go beyond 10 hours underway: Alcúdia → Palma at 9 knots is 10 h 10 min, so we make a technical stop or leave at dawn if the window allows.
Can you take my boat to a boatyard or shipyard?
Yes. We deliver it to the yard's quay or the travel lift at the agreed time, and collect it when it comes out of refit or winter storage. The yard handles the haul-out; we coordinate the timing with them.
Do you go round the north or the south of the island?
The skipper decides on the day's forecast. Between Pollença Bay and Palma the shortest route rounds Formentor and Sa Dragonera to the north (92 nm from Alcúdia), but the Tramuntana coast has few ports of refuge. With a northerly we go south, about 97 nm from Alcúdia, or wait.
Do I need to be there at departure or arrival?
No. Just leave us the keys and the boat's papers, or arrange the handover with the marina or yard. We let you know at departure and arrival, and you can follow the position live.
Do you take boats to Palma for loading onto a cargo ship?
Yes. We bring the boat from any port on the island to the loading quay in Palma and handle the manoeuvre alongside the shipping line's loadmaster. More information.
